All attendees who wish to taste alcoholic beverages at Australian Sake Festival must be at least 18 years of age and respect our strict adherence to RSA principals. Alcohol will not be served to anyone under 18 years of age. All guests must have a valid ID on site.
Australian Sake Festival is a sake and other alcoholic beverages tasting event, and has a strict alcohol policy that is designed to protect the guests and the public from alcohol-related incidents. Please kindly note that all guests are expected to maintain responsible and appropriate behaviour at all times. Australian Sake Festival has the right to refuse entry to any guest intoxicated upon arrival to the Festival and reserves the right to remove any guest from the event who is intoxicated, causing a disturbance, or is potentially dangerous to himself/herself or others. Removed guests will not have a refund for his/her ticket or be compensated in any way. The purpose of the conduct policy is to assure the safety and well-being of all guests.
The booking fee consists of 1.6% of the ticket price + AUD 0.99 + AUD 1.00 per ticket and covers charges imposed by Evey Events, Shopify, and other related systems for payment processing and platform operation.
In the event of a cancellation or refund, the booking fee is non-refundable, as these costs are incurred at the time of purchase.
If the Australian Sake Festival is cancelled, postponed or rescheduled, ticket holders will be notified as soon as reasonably practicable using the contact information available to Australian Sake Festival.
If the event is cancelled, ticket holders will be provided with information regarding any applicable refund, credit or other available options.
If the event is postponed or rescheduled, existing tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event unless otherwise advised. Ticket holders will be notified of the revised event details and any applicable options.
Any refund or other remedy will be provided in accordance with applicable law. Where a refund is provided, it will be returned to the original payment method used to purchase the tickets.
If you wish to cancel your booking and request a refund, a processing fee of $7 per ticket will apply.
For Group Ticket bookings, a $7 processing fee per booking will apply.You may request to reduce the number of General Admission, Early Bird or Under 18 tickets in your booking. A processing fee of $7 per cancelled ticket will apply.
Group Tickets cannot be partially cancelled. If you wish to reduce the number of attendees in a Group Ticket booking, the Group Ticket must be cancelled in full. You will then need to purchase new tickets for the required number of attendees, subject to availability at the time of rebooking.
The same ticket type, price or session may no longer be available when you rebook.
Session changes are subject to availability and are not confirmed until processed by Australian Sake Festival.
If you purchased an Early Bird ticket and Early Bird tickets are still available for your preferred session, your ticket will remain at the Early Bird rate.
If Early Bird tickets for your preferred session are sold out, you will need to upgrade to a General Admission (GA) ticket and pay the applicable price difference.
If you purchased a General Admission (GA) ticket, your ticket will remain a GA ticket when changing sessions, even if Early Bird tickets are available for your preferred session. Your ticket will not be changed to the Early Bird rate.
If a price difference applies, an invoice for the additional amount will be issued. Your replacement ticket will be issued once payment has been received.
Submitting a session change request does not guarantee availability or approval of the requested session.
All requests for ticket cancellations, refunds, session changes or reductions in ticket quantities must be submitted through the official Ticket Request Form at least 7 days before the first day of the event.
The date and time the completed Ticket Request Form is received will be considered the official submission date and time.
Requests sent by email, social media or through any other contact channel will not be considered formally submitted until the completed Ticket Request Form has been received.
Requests received after the deadline will not be accepted, except where otherwise required by law.
Please allow approximately 4–5 business days for Australian Sake Festival to review and process your request. Submitting a request does not automatically confirm or approve the requested change or refund.
Australian Sake Festival cannot accept liability for any damages, loss or injuries sustained at the Festival, including loss or damage to property, however caused.
Please note that photographs and footage will be taken throughout the event. By attending the event, you enter an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur and your entry and presence on the event premises constitutes your consent to such recording media and its release, publication, exhibition or reproduction.
