For one day only, (Monday 2 October), Sydney will host this year’s largest Japanese Sake & Liquor trade event in Australia.
This trade event will be held in conjunction with the 2023 Australian Sake Festival and in collaboration with the Japanese Government and Australian Sake Festival organiser, JAMS.TV Pty Ltd. It has been curated for Australian wholesalers/retailers and restaurants who are interested in introducing or further promoting Japanese Sake and other alcoholic beverages, and food products in their venue.
More than a dozen sake breweries and food product businesses from Japan will join forces alongside Australian local liquor businesses to participate in this one-day trade event, to introduce their products exclusively to Australian buyers on 2 October.
There will be over 200 varieties of sake, fruit liqueurs and craft gins on display and available for tasting.
We encourage you to take advantage of this great opportunity to meet directly with Japanese Sake brewers, food-related business operators and retailers from various regions of Japan as well as local liquor and food business operators.

As part of this trade event, there will be a special ‘Sake Seminar’ held for industry professionals to attend. This seminar will be hosted by Tokyo-based Certified Sommelier (Court of Master Sommeliers) and Sake Professional, Wayne Shennen. This seminar will cover many topics including sake styles, serviceware, food pairing, selling tips & making sake relatable to customers. Wayne will also be available for a Q&A session after the seminar.Â
The seminar will begin at 12pm and will run for approx 45 minutes. It is free to attend for those in the F&B industry and you can find registration details in the main registration form.
