Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and helpful security staff. Efficient entry - started giving arm bands before the doors opened. Good mix of young and old people across different cultures

There were a lot more enjoyable aspects I found at the festival, among them is the fact that I got to meet new people who also enjoy sake as much as I do.

The bustling vibe! Just the right amount of people. Also really enjoyed the 7pm countdown to the $600 bottle of sake!

Yes, the variety of sake that was present such as fruit sake, umeshu and even whisky. Which makes other people who don't like just traditional sake to enjoy the event.

Line to go in moved fast at the start of the day. Lots of tables to sit and eat

Liked the variety of flavoured sake and fruit liqueurs. The staff operating the booths were all extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the products

The venders were so friendly at most of the booths we visited. They were full of knowledge and were eager to help and answer all our questions.

Loved the food hall with the diffrent food vendors, love that it wasnt just ur typical same food trucks u always get but they were actually themed to the festival

The overall atmosphere was very fun as much as it was educational. The venue was also accessible and spacious with an inspirational feel to it.

Well organised and well run, everyone was polite and in a good mood to enjoy the day. The free tasting glass was a nice touch, and was the readily-available water

The variety of different alcohol that could be tasted, enjoyment with friends, exclusive and rare sake which usually aren't on display in Australian stores

Anyone attending the festival is welcome to sample the cocktails offered during each session, as a skilled local bartender showcases her expertise by crafting drinks with Japanese products featured at the event. Each cocktail highlights the distinct characteristics of the Japanese beverages used, offering you a new discovery with every sip. The bartender will also provide detailed explanations about the inspiration and techniques behind each recipe, enhancing your appreciation of these special creations.

Moreover, you’ll have the chance to speak directly with the exhibitors of the featured Japanese beverages. Learn about the craftsmanship, traditions, and stories behind these drinks from professionals deeply knowledgeable about Japan’s vibrant beverage industry.
